{"id":6210,"date":"2025-03-27T11:30:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T11:30:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epioni.gr\/?p=6210"},"modified":"2026-02-10T13:55:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T13:55:04","slug":"7th-conference-on-carers-and-depression-in-thessaloniki","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epioni.gr\/en\/7th-conference-on-carers-and-depression-in-thessaloniki\/","title":{"rendered":"7th EPIONI event on Carers and Depression \u2013 April 28, 2025 in Thessaloniki"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"29\" data-end=\"189\"><em data-start=\"112\" data-end=\"189\">An event dedicated to those who care \u2013 for empowerment and mental wellbeing<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"191\" data-end=\"422\">The <strong data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"236\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Greek Carers Network EPIONI<\/span><\/span><\/strong> successfully held the 7th Conference entitled <strong data-start=\"283\" data-end=\"314\">\u201cCaregivers and Depression\u201d<\/strong> on Monday, 28 April 2025, at 15:00, at Metropolitan College (46 Egnatia Street, 1st floor) in Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"424\" data-end=\"685\">The conference constituted an important initiative aimed at raising awareness, providing information, and empowering family and informal caregivers, highlighting the mental health challenges they face\u2014particularly depression\u2014and the need for accessible support.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"877\">The event was held under the auspices of the Hellenic Psychiatric Association and was supported by IASIS at Work, the Society of Social Psychiatry \u201cP. Sakellaropoulos\u201d, and Alzheimer Hellas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1163\">During the conference, mental health professionals presented evidence-based approaches and innovative practices for supporting caregivers.
