Through this series of meetings, we <strong>offered<\/strong> a safe, welcoming space for expression \u2014 a place where caring for others <strong>could<\/strong> coexist with caring for ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>free supportive intervention<\/strong> was designed especially for <strong>informal carers<\/strong>: parents, partners, adult children, relatives, friends, and anyone who provided ongoing support to a loved one. It also welcomed professionals who carried a caregiving role in their personal life and <strong>wanted to reconnect with their own needs<\/strong> through creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Across <strong>20 sessions (90 minutes each)<\/strong>, participants <strong>came together<\/strong> in a small group setting to share experiences, reduce feelings of isolation, and explore the emotional weight of caregiving in a respectful and non-judgemental environment. Using <strong>dramatherapy methods<\/strong> \u2014 images, roles, symbols, storytelling, movement, and play \u2014 the group <strong>supported<\/strong> carers to express what is often difficult to say in words, strengthen emotional resilience, and rediscover parts of themselves that may have been put \u201con hold\u201d by daily responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>An <strong>individual introductory meeting<\/strong> <strong>took place<\/strong> before joining the group, ensuring that each participant felt informed, comfortable, and supported from the beginning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> 8 Alkamenous St., P.E.PS.A.E.E.
