The City of Athens once again proves to be a steadfast and valuable ally of associations and foundations, renewing an admirable initiative that stands as a model of genuine care and support for the members of the local community.
This initiative offers free accommodation for members of non-profit associations at the City of Athens Summer Camp in Agios Andreas, Attica, from 29 August to 18 September 2025. Through this programme, people with disabilities and family caregivers have the opportunity to enjoy, at no cost, a period of rest, entertainment, and creative activities. The summer camp is located in Agios Andreas, Attica, about 30 km from the centre of Athens, within a pine-covered area of 180 acres, where the mountain meets the sea. It is considered one of the best camps in the Balkans, offering comfortable living conditions, being fully equipped with sports facilities and infrastructure in line with modern European standards, and ensuring a high level of safety for all campers.
The City of Athens fully covers the costs of accommodation, meals, and recreational activities, confirming its tangible commitment to supporting local communities and promoting education, culture, and social cohesion.
Members of our association, in collaboration with the Association of Siblings of People with Mental Health Problems, will once again enjoy a unique experience. In addition to moments of relaxation in the well-organised facilities, they will have the opportunity to participate in cultural events and outdoor activities that foster team spirit and strengthen their personal development.
